Iomega Zip Drive Is Displayed as Floppy Disk Drive

The Iomega Zip 100 or 250 drive is displayed as floppy disk drive B instead of being shown as a removable media type.

The problem can occur when the jumper settings on the Iomega Zip 100 or 250 drive are incorrect. To fix this, change the jumper setting on the Zip drive to slave for a floppy disk drive. For information about how to do this, refer to your Iomega documentation.
