How do I change the "Registered to" Information?

To change the Registered Owner and/or Company as reported by Windows 95:

  1. Start the Registry Editor
  2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion
  3. In the right-hand pane find RegisteredOwner and RegisteredOrganization
  4. Change the values by double-clicking on them and entering the new information
  5. Close the Registry Editor
