Subscriptions not working in Internet Explorer 4

If your Subscriptions are not updated, check if you have this key in your registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run

"Loadwc"="Loadwc.exe"

To check your registry:

  1. Start the Registry Editor
  2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run
  3. Check if the value "Loadwc"="Loadwc.exe" is present

If you don't have this value present, proceed as follows:

  1. Right-click an open area in the right pane and select New > String Value
  2. Name it Loadwc
  3. Double-click this entry and add the value Loadwc.exe
  4. Exit Regedit and restart Windows

Alternatively you can download this registry patch. Save it to your desktop, then just double-click to import the registry info in your registry.
