I can't see another Windows 95-based computer on the network

In order to connect to another Windows 95-based computer, that computer must have the File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks network component installed.

  1. Press Start, select Settings and click Control Panel
  2. Double-click the Network Icon
  3. Click Add > Service
  4. Select Microsoft and select File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks
