Printing Web pages

By: Arie Slob

Internet Explorer 4 offers improved printing power, specially for framed pages. You can now print frames:

  • As laid out on screen
  • Only the selected frame
  • All frames individually

You also have the capability to print the pages that are linked to the page you are printing, and/or printing a TABLE of all the links found on a Web page.

Some things to remember:

  1. If you only want to print one frame from a page, click an empty spot inside the frame you want to print and on the menu-bar press the Print icon
  2. If you want to print all pages that are linked to the page you are printing, select the Print all linked documents check box
Note: This option is not available if you choose to print all frames as laid out on the screen
  3. If you want to print a TABLE of all links on the page you are printing, select the Print TABLE of links check box
Note: This option is not available if you choose to print all frames as laid out on the screen
