Hide the Links Folder
By: Arie SlobThe Links Folder in your Favorites Folder can not be deleted. You can hide it however:
- In Windows Explorer go to \Windows\Favorites
- Right-click on the Links folder
- From the menu select Properties
- Place a Check-mark in the attributes box for Hidden
Now the Links folder won't show on the Favorites menu.
If you have the Links Toolbar visible, you can hide it by Right-clicking an empty space on the Toolbar, and clicking Links from the drop-down menu to clear the check-mark for the Links Toolbar.
The same procedure can be followed to hide the Software Updates Folder (or any other Folder for that matter).
