Work Offline

By: Arie Slob

With Internet Explorer 4 it's easy to work offline, for example to browse through the cache on your hard drive. Select Work Offline from the File menu. If you are online, your online connection disconnects, and you are able to read files directly from your cache. If a page isn't stored in your cache, you see a small "not" sign () next to the cursor. If you click a link that points to a page you don't have in your cache, you get the options of either going online to retrieve the page or to remain offline.
