Disable OE Splash screen

If you want Outlook Express to start without showing the Splash screen:

  1. Start the Registry Editor
  2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Outlook Express
  3. Right-click an open area in the right pane and select New > DWORD Value
  4. Name it NoSplash
  5. Double-click this entry and add the value 1
  6. Exit Regedit

To start showing the splash screen again, simply rename the value to 0.
