Remove Web Folders Icon
By: Arie SlobIf you install Internet Explorer 5, and choose to install Web Folders (using the Customize option), you will see a new (Web Folders) icon in My Computer. Now when you uninstall Internet Explorer 5, Web Folders is not removed and can not be removed (uninstalled) separately.
Here is how to remove the Web Folders icon:
- Start the Registry Editor

Remove this registry key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{BDEADF00-C265-11d0-BCED-00A0C90AB50F}
To be able to restore the Web Folders icon, make a backup of the key firs. To do this, select the key, and choose Export Registry File from the Registry menu in the Registry Editor
- Exit the Registry Editor
