Refresh SCSI Devices

By: Arie Slob

If you have any SCSI devices that were powered off during the start up of Windows 95, they will not show as available, even after turning them on.

For example, if you forget to switch on your Zip drive before starting Windows 95.

In order to use them, without having to restart Windows 95:

  1. Turn your SCSI device on
  2. Click the Start > Settings > Control Panel
  3. Double-click on System
  4. Select the Device Manager tab
  5. Highlight SCSI Controllers
  6. Click the Refresh button
