Hello Windows users,

WindowsBBS Support Forums Our support forums are back! Previously known as the Windows-Help.NET Support BBS, now residing at their own domain, and called WindowsBBS. We run the latest bulletin board software, so you should check it out!

You can leave your comments on the BBS at this location.

Although we had to start from scratch after our archive was lost in the recent hack we suffered, our dedicated staff and other expert volunteer helpers are already back and waiting to answer your questions!

Microsoft Announces XP Sales Numbers

At the 2002 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Microsoft Corp. Chairman and Chief Software Architect Bill Gates announced that just over two months after its worldwide debut, license sales of the Microsoft® Windows® XP operating system have soared to more than 17 million copies (this includes both retail and PC bundles).

That number is more than 300 percent higher than that of Windows 98 and 200 percent higher than that of Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me) over the same period. Seems that not too many people are worried about Windows XP Product Activation (and really they shouldn't).
